Description:

The CAN I/O modules provide the link between the analogue I/O
of the HV modules, e.g. APS, BPS, CPS, DPS, EPS and PHQ to
the CAN bus. Herewith all HV modules and units with analogue
interface can be integrated into a CAN bus based remote controlled
system. The high resolution of the internal ADC and DAC allows
for example to set the output voltage in steps of 10 mV in a range
up to 1000 V. Depending on the type of HV module the voltage, the
current, INHIBIT, polarity, voltage and current limit are controlled
and monitored. The CIOF2 module can be integrated into many units.
Built into the crate type ECH 12x/13x the CIO20Fm is able to control
up to 16 HV-modules or – in a free configuration – control, monitor
and supply up to 16 supplies of the PHQ type for PMTs.
